In mid January 2015, a three day period of excessive rain brought unprecedneted floods to the small poor African country of Malawi. It displaced nearly quarter of a million people, devastated 64,000 hectares of alnd, and killed several hundred people. This shot shows a food being ferried across a river near Phalombe after the bridge was washed away.

BOLIVIA Visiting the farm of Wilfredo Castro, his wife Vicencia Choque and uncle Manuel Villalobes in Colonia 7 Estrellas, near Caranavi. They are exemplary benefeciaries of the FUNDAWI project, gropwing many kinds of aromatic and medicinal herbs, as well as the usual food crops such as maize, beans, fruit and vegetables, ertc. An IDP camp (internally displaced people) in Te-Tugu district of Northern Uganda has been created to accommodate the mass of Ugandan refugees fleeing the LRA (Lords Resistance Army) who are fighting the Ugandan government and its people.
